Great Darkness

A time of destruction, dating from about 1969-2069. During this time the light of truth flooded the world. People fell upon their knees, blinded. The light-filled blindness gave the name to the time. These years saw the removal of ¾ of the unnatural sanskaras on the planet Earth. Extinctions on all evolutionary levels, heating up of the atmosphere, destruction of the forests, melting of the polar caps and concomitant rise in ocean levels, exploitation of nature to fulfill snowballing demands for possessions, waves of viruses, waves of war, the meteor. This term is synonomous with Great Purification, depending on your mood or the universal aspect of this era you wish to focus on.

       No soul passes through the fourth plane of consciousness safely without protection from a Sadguru or a pilgrim on the fifth plane. Instead of an internal plane of spiritual powers, it was as though humanity passed through an external plane of scientific powers that were procreative as well as destructive. Of course they were tempted by those sudden powers and sought to be all powerful, to create, to destroy, to control. Infatutated with their newfound powers, they suffered God-envy, but the Awakener preserved them and the Earth as the setting for the theme of creation to be played out.
